Wittra does not dispute Gartner's statement, the statement is indeed correct, but WiTTRA believes that their approach addresses the historical complexity faced by many organizations that need to cover many different use cases by unifying the different connectivity standards in a single hardware solution.

By allowing different connection layers to coexist in a network, e.g. 6LoWPAN, mioty, LoRa, UWB, you can cover all conceivable indoor location use cases by offering a positioning system ranging from a few meters accuracy to decimeter accuracy workspace coverage, as well as RTLS (real-time location system). The WiTTRA method gives you the freedom to choose the level of positioning accuracy required.

So just say you are at an airport in some areas you need decimeter precision but in all other areas 2/5 meter accuracy is OK. Why pay for a dense airport-wide warning network to ensure you achieve decimeter precision when you don't need to? Instead, you can connect WiTTRA's UWB (Ultra-Wideband) device to the equipment that needs decimeter accuracy, lowering your hardware costs and minimizing operational disruptions.
